“ We stumbled upon Fat Rosie's while searching for dining options near our hotel and knew it was meant to be when we scored front-row parking. Though there was a wait for a table, we lucked out with two seats at the bar. The bartender was quick, attentive, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly. We ordered the De La Casa House Margaritas on the rocks -- just as classic and refreshing as you'd expect. We couldn't resist trying the Fat Rosie's queso, and it did not disappoint. The taco-style queso loaded with Fat Rosie's beef, diced tomatoes, salsa suiza, and fresh cilantro was packed with bold, delicious flavors. Looking for something light, we each ordered a taco, and it was more than enough to satisfy. Fat Rosie's hit the spot with a lively vibe, tasty eats, and excellent service. A great find! ”

“ What a wonderful, warm, festive experience! I read a few reviews before we met our friends there and I was not sure what to expect. Even so, just walking in, we were struck by the fun decor. It was very crowded but we were told they were clearing a table for us. The table was in a cramped area and we told them we would gladly wait for a different one. They were happy to accommodate us. We were meeting close friends and the server seemed to sense that we would like to take our time so each course was delivered and then we ordered the next one, ensuring that we wouldn't feel rushed. He also contributed to our fun evening by treating us like old friends. The food!!! Omgoodness I was expecting a bland americanized version but we got full flavor, with tender and juicy meat and tortillas that seemed freshly made. We had nachos for appetizer and we all had fajitas for the entree. The portions were huge and impossible to finish. The experience was a bit on the expensive side but we had cocktails which drove up the price. We'll be back. ”

“ Lively, loud and lots of energy. It was a Wednesday night and it was packed. Lots of birthdays too... I guess it's the place to go for groups and Birthdays. Service was friendly and helpful. Portions are decent and the food was solid. Carne asada taco- pretty generously filled taco, flavorful but really needed the sauces and pico for flavor. Fish tacos-flavorful and generously filled taco. Chicken tamale- it was good but very filling. The menu was a little confusing... too much to look at. Or maybe it was the "Fat Rosies Old Fashioned, made with tequila instead of bourbon... but they were yummy! ”

“ Fat Rosie's is nothing short of an entertaining fiesta packed night. We went on a Friday night and they had a live band playing festive songs. They also had a lady going around to tables taking pictures and handing out colorful sombreros. The food was outstanding and authentic to Mexican roots. We had guac & warm chips, chicken fajitas, Paella, Steak Salad, and Chicken Mole Enchiladas. We even had desert of the sundae, fresh made warm churros and Mexican coffee. Everything was generously portioned, flavorful and plated nicely. All staff members were friendly and very helpful if you needed anything at your table. Our server Jonathan was excellent and made our experience fun! ”
